Pipedrive is a sales CRM organized around leads, deals, pipeline stages, and follow-up activities. Its visual layout makes it easy to see where opportunities stand and what action is due next.

A pipeline-centered sales workflow

The core workflow is to move leads and deals through customizable pipeline stages and attach activities such as calls, meetings, or follow-ups. That structure gives a sales team a shared view of deal progress and helps make the next task visible. Pipedrive also offers a mobile app and advertises more than 500 Marketplace integrations. That is Pipedrive’s own count, not an independent audit, and the breadth of a marketplace does not guarantee that every integration fits a particular setup.

Pipedrive’s plans determine when teams can connect email, build sequences, or automate routine steps. Email sync and automations begin at Growth; Lite is mainly for manually tracking deals. Growth allows up to 50 automations with three if/else conditions per automation. Premium raises that to 150 automations and 10 conditions, while Ultimate allows 250 automations and 20 conditions. The plans also cap sequences, synced email accounts, shared team inboxes, and custom fields.

Pricing and limits

Pipedrive’s current annual list prices are $14 per seat per month for Lite, $24 for Growth, $49 for Premium, and $69 for Ultimate. It offers a 14-day trial rather than a permanent free plan. Monthly billing costs more; check the current pricing page for the exact amount before subscribing.

Plan limits matter beyond automation. The combined number of leads and deals is capped by plan and seat count, with Pipedrive documenting a maximum of 300,000 for current self-serve plans. Premium and Ultimate include LeadBooster, Projects, and Smart Docs; those are paid add-ons on Lite and Growth. Campaigns and Web Visitors remain add-ons, including on Ultimate. LeadBooster starts at $32.50 per month per company; Web Visitors starts at $41 per month and costs more as identified-organization volume grows. Add-ons and usage top-ups can increase the bill, so compare the full set of tools your team needs rather than only the base seat price.

Where it can fall short

Users repeatedly identify reporting depth as a limitation and say automation can feel constrained for more involved workflows.

Pipedrive has shared team inboxes on higher plans. That is a collaboration feature for handling a shared email account; it is not the same as rotating outbound messages across multiple sender inboxes. There is no native A/B testing for email steps in Sequences or Automations; Campaigns, Pipedrive’s separate marketing add-on, does offer subject-line and call-to-action testing. Whether Pipedrive supports automatic rotation of outbound messages across connected mailboxes remains unestablished, so this review makes no claim either way.

Verdict

Pipedrive is a good fit for teams that want a clear sales pipeline and activity-based follow-up without configuring a highly customized CRM. Its limits are visible in the plan structure: Lite is manual, automation and email begin at Growth, and reporting or workflow needs may require higher tiers or other tools. Before choosing it, confirm the plan limits, add-ons, and total seat cost against the way your team actually sells.

Pricing

TierPriceNotes
Lite$14/seat/month, billed annuallyNo automations, sequences, or email sync. 30 custom fields per company; 2,500 leads and deals per seat, subject to company maximums.
Growth$24/seat/month, billed annually50 automations with up to 3 if/else conditions each; 5 sequences; one email sync account per user; 100 custom fields per company.

Leads and deals limits scale by plan and seat count. Pipedrive documents a 300,000 company maximum for current self-serve plans. Automations, sequences, email accounts, shared team inboxes, and custom fields are also capped by plan. Email sync and automation start at Growth. LeadBooster, Projects, and Smart Docs are add-ons on Lite and Growth but included on Premium and Ultimate; Campaigns and Web Visitors remain add-ons. LeadBooster starts at $32.50/month and Web Visitors at $41/month; Web Visitors pricing scales with identified-organization volume. Current monthly seat prices should be checked on Pipedrive's pricing page.
