TrueTropical takes privacy seriously. We aim to collect only information that is reasonably necessary for legitimate purposes, explain how information is used, and apply reasonable safeguards to protect it.

On this site, information reaches us in only three ways: through the contact form, the review request form and the feedback form at the end of articles; through the technical data our hosting and security provider processes to deliver pages and keep the site safe, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested; and through the email provider we use to send confirmations if you opt into review updates.

We look at aggregated traffic statistics provided by our hosting provider, such as page views and country, to understand which pages are read. These statistics do not use cookies and are not used to identify individual visitors. We do not sell personal information.

Contact messages, review requests and email updates

When you use the contact form, the review request form or the feedback form at the end of an article, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address and message or request. We use them to read and answer your message, to consider your request, and to send you a confirmation that we received it.

If you tick the box to receive review updates, we also store your name and email address with the email service provider we use to send our updates when reviews are published. We first ask you to confirm your subscription by email, and we only add you to the list after you click the confirmation link. Every update email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time by contacting us through the Contact page.

Our email service provider processes this information on our behalf.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when TrueTropical's practices, technology, services, or legal requirements change. The updated version will replace the previous version when published.
