Corrections Policy
TrueTropical aims to publish accurate, useful, and up-to-date information. When we identify a material factual error, we aim to correct it responsibly and, where appropriate, make the correction clear to readers.
Software products, pricing, features, policies, and other information can change over time. Even with careful research and review, errors can occur. This policy explains how TrueTropical approaches factual corrections and requests to review published information.
What we consider a correction
A correction addresses a factual error or material inaccuracy in published content. Examples may include an incorrect product feature, materially incorrect pricing information, a factual error about a company or service, or another statement that should not have been presented as fact.
Minor wording, formatting, spelling, or stylistic changes that do not affect the factual meaning of an article may be made without a formal correction.
Updates and changing information
Not every change to an article represents an error. Software products and commercial services change frequently, so we may update articles when features, pricing, availability, or other relevant information changes after publication.
Where appropriate, updated articles may include a revised verification date or other indication that the information has been reviewed again.
How to report an error
Readers can report a potential factual error through the TrueTropical Contact page. Please identify the article, describe the information you believe is incorrect, and provide supporting information or a source where available.
A clear description of the issue helps us evaluate the claim efficiently. We may need to review additional information before deciding whether a correction is warranted.
How we evaluate correction requests
We review reported errors based on the available evidence. A correction request does not automatically mean that an article will be changed.
Where evidence confirms a factual error, we aim to correct the relevant information. Where the evidence is inconclusive, we may leave the original wording in place or revise it to make the uncertainty clearer.
Material corrections
When an error materially affects a reader's understanding of a product, recommendation, comparison, or other important conclusion, we aim to correct the affected content promptly after the error is confirmed.
Where appropriate, the article may identify that a material correction or substantial update has been made. The level of explanation will depend on the nature and significance of the correction.
Pricing and product information
Pricing, plans, features, integrations, availability, and other commercial details are particularly subject to change. We make a reasonable effort to verify this information, but cannot guarantee that every published detail will remain current at all times.
Where a published detail has changed rather than being historically incorrect, we generally treat the change as an update rather than a correction.
Corrections and editorial independence
Correction decisions are based on accuracy and editorial standards, not on affiliate relationships or other commercial interests.
A correction may change information that affects a product's perceived strengths, limitations, rating, recommendation, or commercial value. Our responsibility is to correct the record where the evidence warrants it.
Our commitment
TrueTropical treats accuracy as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time publishing step. We welcome credible reports of factual errors and aim to handle them fairly, consistently, and transparently.
